Description
This is basically a re-vegetation site with extensive plantings. Originally the site was an open grazed paddock
The riparian vegetation follows Sheepstation Creek and as such has some canopy of Ficus spp.
"Who would have thought that within 2km of the Morayfield shopping centre that there would be a feral pig problem. During 07 we trapped 22 pigs. The pigs were causing massive damage in amongst our plantings. Uprooting trees and stirring up the mulch which seemed to make the weeds grow faster. Many thanks to Tim "the pig man" for loaning us a trap and removing the pigs." Ed Surman |  |
