So You Want to Start a Bushcare Site?

Interested in a natural area that is managed by the Moreton Bay Regional Council? Would like to undertake a Bushcare activity such as weed removal, planting or identifying what wildlife occurs there?

Here are some simple steps to get you under wayDave Luhrman

  • Contact Council's Bushcare Officer on 54200569 or email
  • Know the address or location of the area you are interested in
  • Are there others interested? If you don't know we can assist you with a flier and a letterbox drop to alert people and gauge the interest
  • A minimum of two people is required on site for safety reasons.

The Community Bushcare Program has been achieving amazing results across the Shire for 13 years. If you would like to see before you try? Call Dave.
