Interested in Bush Regeneration or simply just looking after the bush? There are two areas on this website you may be interested in.

First there is the Forum, where Caboolture Shire Council's ED Surman and other experts are monitoring the posts on Your Forums

Then there are the Bushcare Web Pages

Welcome to our Home page.

With much foresight, Caboolture Shire Council and a small, but dedicated group of volunteers established the Caboolture Environmental Education Centre (CREEC) on 18 hectares next to Burpengary Creek. Friends of CREEC, the volunteers who support the development of CREEC as an Environmental Education centre, have established this website to be a source of information and contact for people who care about our environment.

Encompassing a rare lowland rainforest riparian ecosystem, CREEC was chosen for its unique location. The 18 hectare site has several habitats and is home to a wide range of wildlife. On site is an administration building with auditorium, a community nursery, playground, BBQ and interpretive trail. It is located approximately 40 km north of Brisbane on Rowley Road at Burpengary within the area now covered by the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Friends of CREEC aim to provide information that is both unique to the Moreton Bay region and of a broad interest, encouraging a lifestyle and interaction with the environment that is enjoyable and sustainabl

Currently Friends of CREEC have four areas we are focusing on to build a stronger capacity to deliver and support the delivery of knowledge and skills for living sustainably:
